About

Becky Bottoms completed an undergraduate degree in Interpretative Speech from Bob Jones University in 1980. She joined the Speech Department as a Graduate Assistant and taught Freshman Speech Classes while completing her graduate work. She graduated with a Master Degree in Interpretative Speech from Bob Jones University in 1982.  Becky then began teaching Speech, English and History in a Christian high school, and continued there until 2009. While there, she also served as State Fine Arts Coordinator, Club Sponsor, and Tour Host of 9 Summer Tours to Europe and the South Pacific.  Becky currently serves as Dean of Women and Professor of Speech at P.I.U.

Becky enjoys ministering to college-age students and investing her life into the next generation of Christian leaders. She is passionate about travel, believing that travel and education are two of the best investments a person can make in themselves. She and her husband enjoy traveling, both domestic and abroad.  They love to spend quality time with their children, extended family, and church family. She also enjoys cooking and reading.

Becky currently resides in Clemmons, NC with her husband Randy and youngest son. Her older son is a Piedmont graduate who lives in Savannah, Georgia with his wife and two daughters.
