Dr. Catherine Chatmon
A lifelong resident of Winston-Salem, Dr. Catherine Chatmon has served at Piedmont International University since 1984. Upon graduation with a Bachelor’s degree in 1980, she enrolled in the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she completed a Master of Library Science in 1984 and returned to Piedmont where she began serving as Reference Librarian and Director of the Curriculum Lab. In 1990, she completed an Master of Religious Education at Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary and transitioned into teaching in the Education Division in 1991. Since then, she has moved into full time teaching, but has maintained service with the library, assisting with the Curriculum Lab and with the needs of online students. In 2006, she completed a Doctor of Education Degree at Regent University.
