Biography
Mr. Kent Hogan is originally from rural Randolph County, N.C.  He was converted at 21 years old, alongside his wife, at a morning church service.  Upon beginning an itinerant ministry, Mr. Hogan was called to Liberty Bible Institute (Lynchburg, VA) where he graduated with the Th.G. certificate in 1997.  After a two-year pastorate in southwest Florida, Mr. Hogan returned to North Carolina to attend Piedmont International University.  He graduated with the Bachelor (2003) and Masters (2005) degrees in Biblical Studies before continuing Divinity work at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.  He has also served churches, as pastor, in Yadkin and Davidson counties.  Kent and his wife, Janet, are the parents of three boys: Gage, Kody, and Jacob; and one girl: Shana.  Mr. Hogan began teaching adjunctly at Piedmont in Spring 2009, and now teaches Biblical Studies and History courses for the undergraduate program.
