Mr. Jonathan Bolin

Jonathan BolinTheology & Greek Professor

Jonathan Bolin was born in Statesville, North Carolina, but went to Colombia, South America with his parents to serve as missionaries when he was three. At the age of five, Christ's righteousness was imputed to his account through faith by grace. After graduating from high school, Jon went to Piedmont and earned a B.A. in Missions. While there he met and married the love of his life, Michelle. Believing that God had called them to train nationals on the foreign field, they went to Bob Jones University to earn an M.A. in Theology and to start a Ph.D. in Theology. In the Fall of 2007, God provided a teaching assistant position at Piedmont. In 2009, he became a full-time faculty member at the school and advisor to Piedmont’s missions fellowship. He now teaches theology and Greek.  He enjoys playing the guitar, discussing/practicing theology, working on his bike, and being involved in his local church.
