After Acceptance Checklist: Main Campus

 

  • Access your Piedmont email account.  You will receive an email from Technology with instructions on how to begin accessing your Piedmont email account and technology.  After you are accepted, all correspondence from PIU will now be sent to your PIU email account.  It is IMPORTANT to begin checking your PIU email, this is the way the school will communicate with you.
  • Complete the Annual Housing and Commuter Planning FormALL students under the age of 21 are required to live on Main Campus unless you qualify for an exemption
  • Register for classes.  Please contact the advising office and ask for Tyler Spry,  Academic Support Specialist, 336-714-7961, Deeds Hall D206, spryt@piedmontu.edu.
  • Apply for Financial Assistance & Scholarships
    • Apply for Institutional Scholarships on our F.A.S.T. FAST Link (Financial Aid Software Terminal) All Institutional scholarships are awarded after the completion of the F.A.S.T.
    • Complete the FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov
    • Complete Verification of your Student Aid Report (SAR) if selected.  Institutional scholarships cannot be applied to check-in until FAFSA and verification are complete.
    • If applying for a Parent Plus Loan, the loan must be approved and your Master Promissory Note must be electronically signed by the parent before it can be used for Financial Check-In.
  • Complete Student Life and Health Forms 
  • Athletes must fill out the Athletic Eligibility Form  (not required for club sports)
  • Purchase your books!  View the textbook list to see what you need and purchase online. If you received textbook vouchers use the link below to purchase your books.
  • Student Accounts – Pay your bill or set up a payment plan.  Please contact Suzanne Wooters, in Student Accounts
