Engage Events and Other Activities

Part of a college is experience is the life long friends that you will meet and the activities that bring fun, laughter and enjoyment. In fact, you have probably heard the old saying "All work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy!" Piedmont believes a well rounded experience includes mixing in a good measure of fun with your classmates and making memories that will last a lifetime. Many of the fun activities will be planned by the school and others will happen on the campus or in the dorm as you live out life. Online students are certainly invited and welcomed to participate in activities with the on campus students.

Engage Events

Students plan a day away for all main campus students at the beginning of each semester called ENGAGE.

Fall Semester:
ENGAGE Event students are taken out to enjoy the the great outdoors that western North Carolina has to offer. The trips are different each year but can include hiking, mountain climbing, river tubing, canoeing, swimming, cook outs, camp fires, and other activities.
Spring Semester:
The spring ENGAGE Event is spent enjoying the mountains surrounding Boone, NC on the snow tubing slopes. The day is topped off by stopping at a buffet to replenish from the active day.
