Letter from the Dean, Dr. Tim White

Welcome to the Alford School of Ministry which is one of two schools included in Temple Baptist Seminary. Our vision came from our president, Dr. Charles Petitt, who has cast the vision of graduating “key Christian influencers in and from every state and nation.”

Our school is the home of the following degrees that God can use to mold you into a world class leader: Associates of Arts, Christian Ministries, Bachelor of Arts, Christian Ministries, Dual Degree Option: B.A.C.M./M.A. in Ministry, Master of Arts in Ministry, Master of Divinity, and the Doctor of Ministry.

We have the standard 72-hour Master of Divinity and we are excited to introduce the accelerated Five-Year Master of Divinity, Seminary Scholars program where a student can earn the MDiv in just five years from start to finish.

The Bachelor of Arts, Christian Ministry with a double minor prepares the student for a wide range of ministries in or through the local church. This degree has nineteen minors, which can be mixed and matched to equip the student for traditional ministries such as lead pastor, student ministry, international mission, and North America Church Planting. The other minors are Biblical Languages, Children’s Ministry, Church Education, Coaching and Recreational Ministry, Counseling, English, Expanded Bible, General Ministry, Humanities, Management for Non-Profit, Music, Secondary Bible Education, Worship Leadership, History, and Sign-Language.

Our faculty have the educational qualifications, ministry experience, and heart for students to equip them to be the next influencers in our churches, schools, mission fields, and non-profit business.

We invite you to come join us in the School of Ministry.
