It was during his high school days that the Lord used Hebrews 10:10-12 to bring John into a relationship with Himself.   By God’s grace he continued to trust in His finished work.   Soon after his conversion, the Lord used Romans 10:14-16 to give him a heart for a ministry of the Word.  Once he was convinced God called him to a ministry of the Word he committed himself to prepare.  During his days of preparation at Lancaster Bible College (B.S.), Baptist Bible Seminary, PA (M.Div. and Th.M.), and Central Baptist Theological Seminary, MN (Th.D.) the Lord used godly professors and friends to deepen John’s understanding of His Word.  In addition, He orchestrated a number of significant ministry experiences for him in both the church and academy.

There are several things about which John Klem is passionate and that define how he perceives life and ministry.  First, from salvation to glorification, life and ministry are all about Christ and His Word.  His second passion is communicating and modeling the intimate connection of sound doctrine with a godly lifestyle.  And finally, his love for the church and the opportunity it is now affording him to have a simple ministry of the Word to His people.

John and Cathy have been married for 39 years.  The Lord blessed them with two children, Jason and Alison.  Jason is an architect and Alison is a State Farm Agent. She and her husband Derrick were married in 2009.
