Mrs. Stephanie Monroe earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and Sign Language Interpreting and a Master’s of Education with a concentration in Interpreter Education from Tennessee Temple University.  Mrs. Monroe is a nationally certified interpreter with over a decade of experience in a variety of settings. She has taught ASL and Interpreting at the secondary and post-secondary level for several years. Mrs. Monroe joins Piedmont International University as a result of the TTU/PIU Merger. She is excited about the future of the online interpreter education program and working with Piedmont International University to train future interpreters for Christ. Mrs. Monroe currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida, with her husband and two children. Her family is actively involved in Trinity Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida.
