Exciting News for PIU and Athletics

President, Dr. Charles Petitt announced to faculty, staff and students exciting news concerning changes in the athletic offerings at PIU! To provide more opportunities for student athletes Piedmont will be adding baseball, fast pitch softball, and soccer for men and women to compliment the existing men's and women's basketball, and women's volleyball. Piedmont is exploring changing conferences and offering scholarships in the sports programs.

Dr. Petitt also made the announcement of hiring Greg Eidshun as head baseball coach, Kaleb Money as head women's basketball and volleyball, Taylor Eidshun as head softball coach, and Matt Hendricks as strength and conditioning coach for all teams. These men are excited to join with Piedmont and come highly experienced and respected in their area of  coaching. Petitt was heard saying, "These men along with Coach Josh Howard  and Coach JaVon Summers will build a strong program at PIU without sacrificing our mission to train Christian leaders."
