Ph.D. in Biblical Studies:
Forming Effective Pastors, Professors, and Ministry Leaders

Piedmont’s Ph.D. in Biblical Studies program is designed for students who have an earned master’s degree with a background in systematic theology. The program provides students with the most flexible and affordable way to build the highest level of research skills to aid in their service as effective pastors, seminary professors, and Christian leaders.

This hybrid program consists of 6 one-week modules concentrated in the Summer with the remainder of the program available online.

Concentrations:

  • Old Testament
  • New Testament
  • Theology

Prerequisites:

  • Earned masters
  • 12 hours of Theology
  • 6 hours of Greek
  • 6 hours of Hebrew
  • 6 hours of Biblical Introduction (Old and New Testament courses)

Application Deadlines

  • Spring 2019 Online Term - February 25, 2019
  • Summer 2019 Term - April 22, 2019
  • Fall 2019 Term - August 2, 2019

Scholarship Opportunity

The Atlantic Scholarship offers a 1/3 tuition discount for all incoming Temple Baptist Seminary students. The scholarship will be applied each year the student remains enrolled
