Welcome to the Piedmont International University Patterson School of Business. The Patterson School of Business develops practitioner-scholars who are able to use transferable managerial and business skills, such as organizational development, system-thinking, entrepreneurship, and effective communication skills to be effective leaders in a global society. 2018-19 is the inaugural year of the Patterson School of Business, and we believe that God is going to establish this program as a hallmark for effective Christian business leaders throughout the triad, state, country and world.

The Patterson School of Business will offer a Bachelor of Management & Business Ethics and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Both programs prepare students to understand the management side of leading, while exposing them to a variety of business areas, such as entrepreneurship, marketing, and accounting.

The changing landscape of the workforce has created a need for well-educated and credentialed individuals that have the skills that will allow them to be effective and competent in their fields. In addition to the changing demands of the workforce, our society has become increasingly global, and individuals entering the workforce should do so with a global mindset and a willingness to engage with a variety of cultures from around the world. Students in both the undergraduate and graduate program will have the opportunity to travel internationally to study and immerse themselves in a variety of cultural experiences that will prepare them for operating in a global context while being a witness for Christ throughout the world.

For more information about the programs and/or courses being offered, please contact Joe Edgerton, Academic Advisor for the Patterson School of Business, at edgertonj@piedmontu.edu or 336.714.7938. If you are looking for a program that will prepare you to be a global business leader, we welcome you to join us at Piedmont International University!
