Gary Anderson, President of Baptist Mid-Missions

Dr. Anderson has served as President of Baptist Mid-Missions since 1989, after serving two years on BMM’s Advisory Council before being appointed as Executive VP in 1987. Prior to this, he served as pastor of Springville Baptist Church (PA) from 1975 to 1987. Since its origin in 1920, God has used missionaries sent through Baptist Mid-Missions to evangelize, disciple believers, and plant churches the world over.

Dennis Nunn, Founding President of Every Believer a Witness

Dennis (PIU class of '83) has spoken in hundreds of churches across America. For 20 years, Dennis was an instructor for Walk Thru the Bible Ministries, where he twice received the President’s Award as Walk Thru’s #1 ranked instructor. Dennis is also a Staff Evangelist at First Baptist Church Woodstock (GA). Dennis’ passion and focus is motivating and training "Sunday morning attenders" to share their faith.

Phillip Hunt, Chairman at IBMGlobal

Shahn Wilburn, Pastor of Riverview Baptist Church

Dr. Shahn Wilburn has been the senior pastor at Riverview Baptist (VA) since 1980. Believing strongly in the great commission, missions and missionaries have been an emphasis at Riverview as well as local evangelization. Riverview was one of the first churches to join the new e4-12 program at Piedmont. Shahn serves on numerous ministry boards and is currently Chairman of the Board at PIU.

Tim Fuhrer, Assistant Professor at Radford University

Dr. Fuhrer teaches various chemistry courses (including "Chemistry of Life") at one of the top-ranked universities in Virginia.  He attends Calvary Baptist of Radford (VA) where he became one of the very first students in Piedmont's new e4-12 program.  As you'll hear, Tim was especially impacted by Ken Ham's teaching in the "Origins" course.
